Navara Central Locking Installation

Step 1 of 18

Disconnect the negative terminal from the battery.

Fasten the positive fuse terminal to the ____.

Fasten the negative terminal to the shown point in side of the engine bay.

Reinstall the positive terminal cover.

Feed the rest of the loom down into the engine bay like so.

Cable tie the loom to the factory loom as shown.

Remove the passengers door trim.

Remove the trim in the passengers footwell.

Underneath the floor of the passengers seat, there is a grommet and access point to the underneath of the vehicle with the factory loom running through it.

Take the ___ plug and remove the rubber grommet.

Feed the ___ plug over the chassis towards that access point and cable tie to the ____.

Feed the end of the loom down towards the rear of the vehicle.

Remove the grommet from the access point and feed the ___ plug through it.

Tape the grommet back on adjust it back into place.

Your ___ plug should be accessible from underneath the front passengers seat.

Take the beacon/buzzer loom and plug it in like so.

Feed the loom underneath the floor towards the passengers footwell.

Remove the glovebox.

Feed the buzzer loom behind the factory loom on the left side of the passengers footwell.

(NOTE)

Buzzer is not installed for Hardlid installations

Plug the buzzer patch and buzzer into the loom like so and stick the buzzer inside the glove box cavity.

Plug the fuse holder into the loom and remove the shown fuse from the vehicle and place into the fuse holder.

Plug the fuse holder in where you removed the red fuse from.

Cable tie the excess loom together and tuck it away into the glove box cavity.

Securely the rest of the loom to the factory harness.

Reinstall the rubber seal, trims and glove box.

Underneath the vehicle, cable tie the remainder of the loom along with the factory harness towards the rear of the vehicle.

Remove the shown bracket like so and unplug the loom that feeds towards the fuel filler.

Cut open the housing of the ___ plug and cut the green and brown wires.

Take the plug you have just cut off and splice back on to the factory loom along with our central locking loom.

Wrap the splices in electrical tape.

Plug back into the fuel filler.

Cable tie the looms together and reattach the brackets like so.

Place each of the wires into the plug based on the table.

Ensure you insert the green wedge into the plug.
