Firstly, we need to clean our vaccine guns.
It's just a matter of pulling the tube off the gun and disconnecting from the bottle.
The tube should be thrown away.
Return the vaccine to the fridge and place it with the other bottles of the same vaccine - store the partially used vaccine bottle at the front of the stock.
Now start cleaning the vaccine gun by dipping in water. Squeeze in and out to filter water through.
Leave water in the gun.
Next, clean the ice bricks by using a rag to wipe them off.
And neatly stack the ice bricks flat in the freezer.
Do not just throw the ice bricks in.
Check for and remove rubbish.
If it looks like we've got plenty of these draw tubes, keep 2-3 with the esky and store the remainder in the bottom of the fridge.
Any unwanted or damaged needles should be put into the sharps container (stored in the esky).
Once everything is out of the esky, wipe the inside well.
Place everything back in the esky neatly, ready for future use.
Put any unwanted rubbish in the bin.
Rinse out the rags.
Don't shut the esky fully if you can prevent it.
Finish by tipping out your used/excess water.
