imei Intelligence Dashboard User Guide
The imei Intelligence portal features two main dashboards, 'Service' and 'Telstra Fleet', depending on your organisation’s services, additional dashboards 'Device and MDM', and 'Voice and Data' Intelligence may also be available. This guide will walk you through all four dashboards.

imei Service

This dashboard provides insights into imei’s customer service and logistics cases, device shipments, Telstra connections, and the Telstra Fleet.

It also offers a monthly snapshot of all Telstra services, data usage and allowances, billing, device details, top users, and spend across your account.

Support Request Summary

Presents trends across cases, shows Open Cases by Status, and displays feedback from customers and admins.

Order Summary

Here, you can view order trends, including open orders and devices shipped by imei, as well as a breakdown of provisioning with completed connections, open connections, and connected plans.

Filters

These dashboards are fully interactive, with filters along the top to refine the displayed data. For example, you can click on the 14 open cases to view detailed information in a table.

Download

In any table, you can click the dropdown button to download the data for your records.

Telstra Fleet

The Telstra Fleet dashboard shows trends and information about your Telstra mobility services.

Selecting Data by Month

Select the current month or choose snapshots from the past six months along the top, but it’s best to select the most recent month for the latest data.

Account Summary

From here, you can view your services, minimum contract commitments, billing and average spend, data usage and allowances, and drill down into account details and service totals.

In this example, you can see three different accounts with their respective relevant information.

Service Summary

The service summary displays your plans, service utilisation, including unused services over three and six months, and the device makeup of your fleet.

Drilldown

Clicking on the “88” updates all widgets to reflect that data, allowing you to drill down to categories.

Click on Details to view a detailed table of services in the inactive category.

You can click the dropdown to download and export that table.

Usage and Spend

View usage and spend details, including average spend per device type, top 20 data users, and associated usernames.

Drilldown

Click on any widget to update the related data. Use the trend filters at the top to check for applicable and stable trends. Click top services to update other widgets.

Service Level Access

Review service level access for day pass usage per month, excess data charges, and international restrictions (roaming and IDD).

Check how many services have these enabled, plus domestic restrictions for MMS, premium SMS, and Telstra One Number.

Device / MDM Dashboard

Open the Device and MDM dashboard (if available) to view MDM data, device details shipped by imei, and Telstra blitz file data for device lifecycle management.

Review asset usage statuses, such as in repair, returned, or never switched on.

Devices by Usage

View device usage by status to see if a device is enrolled, on the Telstra network, both, or has no detected usage.

View MDM-enrolled devices and compliance status.

Click a widget to filter and drill into the device details for that status.

Review enrollment trends over the past 12 months, enrolled device breakdown, and “days since seen” reports.

Check devices by operating system to ensure they are running the latest iOS or Android version, including minor updates, for security and compliance.

Identify unsupported devices that can no longer receive iOS updates, flagging potential security risks.

Voice and Data Intelligence Dashboard

Open the Voice and Data Intelligence dashboard (if available for DAC Managed Services) to view fixed data/NBN services. Select a month to view or update data.

View trends in Telstra-billed services and site details, including spend per site.

Click a site to view linked services and billing trends.

Review total service spend and average monthly spend breakdowns.

Drill into service details to view account numbers, site links, service types/plans, contract end dates, billing descriptions, and service addresses. 

Add comments to services for custom notes, which can be reported on for customer feedback.

View billing details in a line-by-line breakdown showing cost type, category, main subscription, credits, and equipment charges.

Review plan and service composition to see the types of network plans in use and their frequency in the account.
