Hang the fabric piece, or pieces onto the green board using magnets.

Make sure it's flat, straight and that it isn't stretched.

If the fabric must be oriented a particular way to make the pattern work, add a note to the board indicating "good side out" or "reverse side out".

Also add a piece of paper showing what the pattern is for, along with the sales order number that it relates to.

Somewhere in the center of the patch of fabric add a 5cm square scaling piece.

Next, open the CADShot app on the Artisan smartphone.

Make sure it's logged into the correct IP address and press "take picture".

Standing square-on to the board, make sure that you capture the whole green board in the image finder and click "take image".

Click the Tick in the app and then upload.

Wait for the app to confirm "Upload successful".
