How to apply, remove and roll a Bearhug wrap.
How to apply, remove and roll a Bearhug wrap.
1
Step 1 of 10

Lean the wrap at a 30 degree angle to the centre of the load, with the metal base ring facing down. Release the 2 Velcro tabs.

2
Step 2 of 10

Unroll the wrap anti-clockwise around the load, ensuring you hold the wrap level with the top layer of stock as you pass each corner.

3
Step 3 of 10

Meet the 2 ends centrally at the front of the load, and ensure the entire wrap sits above the pallet. Grab the bars at each end of the wrap and shimmy it higher if needed.

If the wrap isn't positioned centrally, the base straps will not be able to reach the ring attachments.

4
Step 4 of 10

Leaning against the right side, apply the second highest front strap.

Then apply all front straps using a small amount of body weight.

5
Step 5 of 10

Apply the front and rear base strap by sliding them under the pallet and attaching them to the angled metal ring.

If the load is narrow and the wrap has to attach to the 2nd layer of rings, fix the base strap to the bottom right ring instead.

6
Step 6 of 10

Throw the top strap over and tighten.

Place any paperwork in the document pouch and ensure the wrap is uniform and tight.

7
Step 7 of 10

REMOVAL- Before positioning the pallet against the fence:

Release the top strap.

Undo the base straps and close the velcro against the side of the wrap.

8
Step 8 of 10

REMOVAL- Position the pallet against the fence, leaving a small gap between the two. Then:

Remove the front straps and velcro them back against their housing.

Drag the wrap out from one side of the load, and lay it flat on the ground with the logo facing down.

9
Step 9 of 10

Starting from the end with the arrow, fold the wrap in thirds.

Roll towards the Bearhug logo end, then close the 2 end tabs.

Return the wrap to the storage area.

MAINTENANCE

If wraps become dirty, they can be hosed off and hung up to dry in under 24 hours.

Ensure any functionally damaged wraps are separated from the storage area, so they can be repaired by Bearhug.
