7

Clean with wipe by dragging a new part of the wipe across the teat multiple times.

8

Scrubbing back and forwards just smears the dirt and doesn’t clean.

9

Partially insert the dry cow nozzle and loosely hold the teat in your fingers. Push the dry cow in.

10

While the tube is still in squeeze the teat a couple of times to push the dry cow into the udder and empty the teat canal for sealant.

11

Flick the lid of the sealant off towards yourself. The short nozzle ensure the sealant is placed in the teat canal.

12

Pinch your fingers together tightly at the top of the teat to ensure sealant stays in the teat canal. Insert tube and push sealant in ( the teat will usually visually fill up ).

13

Now gently strip down until the sealant appears at the teat end.

14

Now identify and record the cow so she doesn’t end up getting milked again!
