1

To initiate the creation of a knowby, click the "+" button located at the bottom right corner of the screen.

2

Select the gray "Click to upload" section to upload the cover image for your knowby. You have two options: choose from your Media Library or Take a Photo directly.

3

Once you've chosen a picture from your media library or taken a photo, you'll be directed to the Crop Media screen.

4

Within the Crop Media screen, you can zoom in on a picture using gestures or a slider, and move the picture with your fingers. Save your changes by clicking the "Done" button located at the bottom right of the screen.

5

After downloading and uploading your media, you'll observe a "Processing Media" loading phase. You can seamlessly continue with creating your knowby, as this download occurs in the background. Once the image is fully loaded, a preview will replace the grey area.

6

Click on the Title field and begin entering the name of your knowby. The maximum character limit is 60 characters.

7

In the Description field, you can provide a short review of what your knowby will cover. The maximum character limit is 280 characters.

8

You can choose to make your knowby public, allowing it to be accessible to anyone on the internet. To enable this, click on the toggle next to the "Public" label.

9

To make your knowby private, restricted to internal organization viewing only, click on the enabled Public switch again.

10

If you would like to track when a user has completed a knowby, enable the Knowby Complete Button.

11

Set the estimated amount of time that you expect the user will need to complete the knowby.

12

Click on the Steps slider button at the top of the screen to begin adding steps to your knowby.

13

For each step in your knowby, click on the step image box to upload an image or video.

14

Clicking on a video or image allows you to choose between media from the media library or capture new media in real-time.

15

After selecting media from your library or capturing a video/photo, you'll be directed to the Crop Media screen.

16

Inside the Crop Media screen, you have the ability to zoom in on a video/image using gestures or a slider, and adjust the image position with your fingers. Save your modifications by clicking the "Done" button at the bottom right of the screen.

17

After downloading and uploading your media, you will notice a "Processing Media" loading phase. You can effortlessly continue with creating your knowby, as this download takes place in the background. Once the video/image is fully loaded, a preview will replace the grey area.

18

Provide instructional text for each step, then tap the checkmark icon located above the right side of the keyboard to close the keyboard.

19

Tap the "Add step" button located at the bottom right to add a new step.

20

As mentioned before, you can capture a video or photo instantly by selecting the corresponding options.

21

On the Crop Media screen, clicking the Done button initiates the immediate start of the media download process. Once the media has been uploaded, a preview will become visible.

22

To add a step between two existing ones, click on the "Insert Step" button. Feel free to include as many steps as you need, each with videos or pictures.

23

If you desire a "Complete Step" button after each step, allowing users to track their progress, switch on the "Step must be completed" toggle.

24

To alter the sequence of displayed steps, click on the horizontal lines icon to the right of the step number. While on the displayed screen, hold the horizontal lines icon and drag the step to the desired position.

25

To remove a step, click on the basket icon to the left of the step number.

26

Select the category for your knowby (this is optional) by clicking on the Categories tab.

27

After you've added all the details and steps to your knowby, click on the Save button at the top right. You now have two options: "Save and Exit" to save your knowby to drafts, or "Publish" to publish your knowby (or assign an approver if you have editor rights).

28

If you are an organization administrator, clicking "Publish" will make your knowby available within the organization. It won't necessarily make it public to everyone on the internet unless you've specifically configured it to be public.

29

Upon selecting "Save and Exit," your knowby will be saved in your drafts within the Workspace tab on your home screen.

Congratulations on completing your first knowby!
