Some of the things we know that work are:
- Dry licks;
- Molasses;
- Molasses based blocks;
- Salt blocks;
- Mineral salt; and
- Protein meals

We have developed our own attractant for the purpose of getting animals onto the Optiweigh.
It is a dry/loose lick formulation with no grain in it, it has the sweet smell and taste which is important for attracting animals.
It is available at your local rural store. Please ask them to get in touch with Agricon to order it in for you.

If your animals are going through the dry lick or meals too quickly, then please use the lick limiter provided.
Make sure it is secured to the unit as cattle will pick it up and take it away!

We can also provide a liquid roller if you are using molasses or other liquids as the attractant.
