Embed a Knowby on Your Website

Embed a public knowby directly into your website using an iFrame — perfect for adding step-by-step guides to your own pages.

<p>Using iFrames, you can embed a public knowby straight into your website. To get the embed code, click the <strong>three-dot menu</strong>, go to <strong>Knowby Details</strong>, and select <strong>Embed Code</strong>.</p><blockquote><p>Keep in mind your knowby needs to be set to <strong>Visible for anyone on the web (public)</strong> before you can copy the code.</p></blockquote><p></p>

Using iFrames, you can embed a public knowby straight into your website. To get the embed code, click the three-dot menu, go to Knowby Details, and select Embed Code.

Step 2 of 3

To make a knowby public, set its access to Public (Anyone on the web) during the approval process.

If it's already published, open the three-dot menu and click Unpublish first to send it back to Draft.

Then start the approval process, go to the Access step, select Public (Anyone on the web), confirm in the pop-up, and complete the approval to publish it.

Step 3 of 3

Once it's public, go to Knowby Details, click Copy embed code, and select Copy in the top right corner — or select the code manually and press Ctrl/Cmd + C. 💡
