<p>Locate the QC sheet on the passenger seat of the vehicle. Ensure that the first column of secondary checks is completed.</p>

In cab check for any sharp items that could cause damage to seats, floor mats, rear seat etc

Check cab to front wall clearance 

Most models are 25 mm minimum

Check underbody components are secure by firmly pulling, pressing, hitting to listen for any loose components, loose fasteners etc

Inspect mudguard well fasteners are fully secure and paint marking is in place

Check fuel filler and breather pipes are kink free, secure and down facing at least 15 degree. 

Fuel filler should have continuous downward flow from the filler neck to the tank.

Any ranger models - ensure the 'shepards hook is secure inside front infill, and downward facing

Inspect all chassis bolts fully secure and have paint marker applied

Verify keys on keyring 

  • Fuel filler

  • All doors

  • Underbody toolbox

  • Underbody drawer

  • Any specific accessories that have keys

IF CLK - test all doors + underbody drawer

Press lock - test doors are locked

Press unlock - test doors unlocked

  • Internal lighting 

  • Door buzzers/switches

  • Internal shelving and drawers 

  • Removable floor

  • High lift doors

  • Vices for clearance

  • Internal T-track 
  • Doors and bracing 
  • Front/rear wall
  • Internal accessories

Inspect Trailcore Tray specific items 

  • Sideboards have clearance 

  • Latches work 

  • Lashing rings secure and drain

  • Sideboard bump stops

Check rear drawer or drop-down flap

  • Low force opening 
  • No squeaking/rubbing 
  • Latches securely at full open 
  • Low force to unlatch/close
  • Stays closed when latched

Check any electrical accessories for operation - physically turn on switches

  • Test road side buzzers (should sound when turned on or upon putting in drive)

  • Inverters verify load check is completed

  • Check battery charger is programmed to the correct battery type (AGM/Lithium etc)

  • Any electrical screens are operational

  • Spotlights/Worklights/strobes work

Check under body wiring is fully secure, any towbar bolts replaced are paint marked and secure

Give a low force pull to verify any cable-ties or sticky pads will last a 5-year warranty period!!!

Check any cables are secure between cab and have water drip loops

For any despatch jobs - ensure electrical wiring connectors are clearly labeled with the pin out of each pin (to assist fitters with wiring installs)
