Toyota Hilux N80/N90 Tub Rack

Brackets and fitted components have been colour coded per legend below:

ORANGE: Front Brackets

RED: Middle Brackets

Green: Rear Brackets

White: Crossbars

Yellow: Tie Down Eyelets

Grey: Front Window Mesh (Optional Add-on)

Please note: We have provided this for reference in the assembly process

Please note: Workmate and SR models will required the cutting and removal of the headboard to install the MAYKA Tub Rack.

Before marking holes on the tub, palce tape where required to mark any holes for drilling.

N80 Hilux: All bracket holes will required drilling

N90: Holes are required for the front and middle brackets

NOTE: The middle bracket does not require specific placement, but we do recommend installing it once the tub rack is place and spacing it evenly between both the front and rear brackets.

Place the bracket as shown and Fit two M8x30mmm bolts through the bracket with two flanged nuts on the inside of the tub skin to loosely secure the bracket. (Right side bracket shown)

N90: Fit loosely to two existing holes.

N80: Fit and Mmark all holes

Mark slotted holes across the front of the tub.

N90 only: Fit the rear brackets to the tub using - 2x M8x30mm Bolts with two M8 Flanged Hex nuts on the inside of tub skin.

For N80 installation: Measure from the front of the headboard and mark a line at 1250mm on the taped area at the rear. This mark will be the front of the rear bracket.

Place the rear bracket on the marked line at 1250mm - Mark the holes when the bracket is in place - Ensure the bracket is flush with the top edge of the tub.

Drill pilot holes in the center of the marked slots for all brackets using a 3mm or 4mm drill bit.

Drill the holes out further with the 8.5mm bit.

Note: you will need a drill stop over your bit or something behind the tub to prevent damaging the cab.

Debur all drilled holes.

Apply rust proof paint to drilled holes.

With all holes drilled, deburred and rust proofed, fit the two from brackets and two rear brackets to the tub using M8x30mm Hex Bolts with a spring washer and flat washer and M8 Flanged Hex nuts.

Place the assembled tub rack on to the tub.

Align the slotted holes on the bracket and tub rack corners to the fitted brackets then loosely fix M8x30mm Hex Bolts with M8 spring and flat washers and M8 Flanged Hex Bolts.

Follow this step for all four corners.

Fit two spring nuts into the channel along each inside channel of the bottom extrusions.

Using two M8x16mm Hex Bolts with spring washers and flat washers - secure the two remaining brackets to the spring nuts in the channel.

N90 Owners: Shift the bracket to align to the two middle holes in the tub skin.

N80 Owners: Place marking tape in the middle of the panel and mark the two holes when aligned. Repeat steps 10-13

Loosely fix M8x30mm Hex Bolts with M8 spring and flat washers and M8 Flanged Hex Bolts.

Before tightening all bolts, ensure your tub rack is evenly aligned on both sides of the vehicle.

Once aligned, tighten all corner bracket nuts and bolts to secure the tub rack.

Make sure all crossbars are spaced evenly and centrally or as required.

Tighten all crossbar bolts once spaced correctly.

The tub rack is now installed.
