Brackets and fitted components have been colour coded per legend below:
ORANGE: Front Brackets
RED: Middle Brackets
Green: Rear Brackets
White: Crossbars
Yellow: Tie Down Eyelets
Grey: Front Window Mesh (Optional Add-on)
Please note: We have provided this for reference in the assembly process
Please note: Ranger XL models will required the cutting and or removal of the headboard to install the MAYKA Tub Rack.
Unbox all the provided fitting kit hardware.
This should contain:
Hex flange nut M6 × 10
Spring washer D8 × 30
Spacer D8_22_2 × 14
Hex head bolt (full thread) M8 × 30 × 14
Hex head bolt (full thread) M6 × 40 × 6
Hex head bolt (full thread) M8 × 16 × 16
Flat washer D8 (8 × 16 × 1.6 mm) × 12
Spring washer D6 × 10
Hex flange nut M8 × 8
Flat washer D6 (6 × 18 × 1.6 mm) × 14
Hex head bolt (full thread) M6 × 30 × 4
Spring clip nut M8 × 16
Spacer D8 (8 × 24 × 2 mm) × 4
Gather necessary tools for fitting the tub rack.
Masking Tape
Marker Pen
6mm Hex Key
13mm Spanner
Screw driver
Scissors (Suitable for cutting plastic trims)
Use the philips head screw driver to remove any screw plugs fit into the plastic trims.
If you have a tub liner, the liner will require trimming where the brackets are fitted.
Shown is the front right bracket, mark and trim the liner to suit.
Place the rear bracket in the rear corner of the tub and loosely align to the OEM holes.
Mark behind the bracket where the metal plates are on the back. Then mark 15mm down from the top to create the required section for trimming.
Collect hardware required to fit the front brackets.
You will need:
8x M8x30mm Hex Head Bolts
8x M8 Flat washers
8x M8 Spring Washers
4x M8 Flange Nuts
L and R Front Brackets
Fit two M8x30mm Hex head bolts with both M8 spring and flat washers through the bracket and into the OEM weld nuts in the tub.
Leave finger tight and set the remaining bolts aside for the tub rack install.
Collect hardware required to fit the rear brackets.
You will need:
6x M8x30mm Hex Head Bolts
6x M8 Flat washers
6x M8 Spring Washers
6x M8 Flange Nuts
4x M6x30mm Hex Head Bolts
4x M6 Flat washers
4x M6 Spring Washers
2x M6 Flange Nuts
L and R - Rear Brackets
Fit 2x M8 Hex Head Bolts with the washer and M8 Flanged nuts to the two front slots (Ignore the middle slot, it is not required).
F 1x M6 Hex Head Bolts with the washer and M6 Flanged nuts to the one rear slot in the bracket.
Repeat on the other side.
Keep the bolts finger tight for later adjustment.
Collect hardware required to fit the middle brackets.
You will need:
6x M8x16mm Hex Head Bolts
6x M8 Flat washers
6x M8 Spring Washers
6x M8 Spring Nuts
4x M6x40mm Hex Head Bolts
4x M6 Flat washers
4x M6 Spring Washers
4x M6 Flange Nuts
L and R - Middle Brackets
Fit the middle brackets to the tub body using 2x M6x40mm Hex Head Bolts with Spring and flat washers and M6
Place the assembled tub rack on to the tub.
Align the slotted holes on the bracket and tub rack corners to the fitted brackets then loosely fix M8x30mm Hex Bolts with M8 spring and flat washers and M8 Flanged Hex Bolts.
Follow this step for all four corners.
Fit two spring nuts into the channel along each inside channel of the bottom extrusions - Slide to the pre-fit middle brackets.
Loosely fix M8x16mm Hex Bolts with M8 spring and flat washers into the spring nuts fit in the channel.
Before tightening all bolts, ensure your tub rack is evenly aligned on both sides of the vehicle.
Once aligned, tighten all corner bracket nuts and bolts to secure the tub rack.
Make sure all crossbars are spaced evenly and centrally or as required.
Tighten all crossbar bolts once spaced correctly.
The tub rack is now installed.
