To activate the knowby translation function you must first enable multiple languages for your organisation. To do so, tap on the Settings cog, select Organisation languages and tick as many languages as your team needs.

Now, you'll be able to create a knowby with translations. There appears the language button on each text field. It will stay inactive until you enter a text.

Once the text is entered, you can switch to other languages to see whether it was translated correctly.

You can change the Base Language of your knowby. The base language means the system translation engine will run translations from that language. Click on the button and select another language from the list. Check how all text fields are displayed in the selected language now.

The handy thing is that you can always update the machine translation. Select translated variant of your step and simply change the text.

Now, once you change the step in its base language, the system will ask you whether to update translation. If you select "Cancel", your translated variant of the step will not be translated.

You can select your preferred language under your avatar. It will allow you to view knowbys in that language (only if they have this translation, of course).

To switch between knowby's languages, click on 3 dots menu, select 'Knowby language' and choose the one you need.
