Hardlid Functions Test

After installation of all hardlids they need to be thoroughly water tested to ensure there are no leaks.

Hose down spraying wellside and hardlid sealing edges, hinges and the edge between vehicle cab and hardlid

Things to look for, ensuring when doors are opened there is no sign of water leaking through sealing edges.

Ensuring the drivers side and passenger's side front corners are sealed correctly with no leaks (This is important if gaps have been filled with silicone)

Any sign of water leaking will need fixing if the issue is sealing check seals are making firm contact with wellside if locks need adjusting to increase tighter seal please follow.

Hardlid functions test should include

Central locking is operating correctly using Vehicles key fob operate lock and unlock and ensure hardlid is locking and unlocking correctly.

Ensure door switches are operating correctly and lights turn off when pressed

Ensure light sensor button is functioning correctly and switching light from white, amber, off,

Door ajar buzzer should not be installed on hardlids.
