It is recommended to remove the Gearforce lid and turn this upside down before completing this repair.

Small section repairs can be completed with the lid on the vehicle, however take care to ensure the vehicle is protected from drops of superglue.

Remove the surface adhesion promoter from the packet and apply this to the surface where the seal will be installed then let this dry for 5 - 10 seconds.

Warning, take care not to get the surface activator anywhere on the powder coating that will not have a seal installed as this damages the surface of the powder coat.

Warning, read surface activator safety instructions on the packet before using.

Apply a large bead of superglue down the centre line of where the seal till be installed.

Re-apply the seal by aligning the seal, then pressing and holding firmly for 3 seconds.

Once the seal is installed, press firmly along the seal to make sure this hasn't lifted. Check for any visible super glue seepage around the visible outside edges.

Leave the lid resting upside down for 5 minutes for the super glue to cure, before installing this back onto the vehicle.

Note: Continue to take care with the seal as this will take up to 24 hours to reach peak strength.
