Ask the person to hold the OOXii Near Vision Chart at a comfortable distance, usually about 40cm. Make sure there is good light on the chart, with no glare or shadows.

Ask the person to look at the smallest line they can see easily. Show them how to use their hand to indicate which way the E is pointing, then check which is the smallest line they get all the letters correct. Tell them it's ok to guess if they are not sure.

Record in the ooxii app the smallest line they get at least 4 out of 5 letters correct.
