<p>Remove the locking rods from the back of the lock. Take care not to loose any fasteners as these will be needed later.</p>

<p><span style="color: black;">Remove the latch backing bracket from the canopy. As this is glued, this may need to be heated and the glue gently cut using a blade.</span></p><blockquote><p>Take care not to dent the door skin while removing this as this will be visible from the outside.</p></blockquote><p></p>

<p>Replace the lock in the the housing.</p>

<p>Prepare all of the powder coated surfaces using a surface activator.</p><blockquote><p>Take care not to get surface activator on visible areas of the canopy as this alters the surface of the powder coating to help the glue to stick.</p></blockquote><p></p>

<p>Re-Glue the housing using a windscreen glue.</p>

<p>Place the housing back onto the canopy and secure this in place using the 2 studs, clean up any excess glue.</p>
