


Take windlace from box and measure out 3 mms of excess windlace as shown in video.
Be sure to remember how much length was measured as this is the amount you will chop off using pliers. Make a cut as shown in video.
Slice away bulbseal.
CQC: Ensure thick globes are used when cutting with craft knife.
With correct amount cut off, press windlace onto rear of lid firmly, following the length of the lid.
CQC: Ensure to over hang the windlace by 2mm. This will allow the bulb seal and windlace to join.
Press the windlace into the grove the whole way along the front edge.
Trim windlace leaving 3cms of bulbseal to be hidden when vulcanised bulbseal is applied.
CQC: Ensure to leave the extra 2mm to ensure it seals against the bulb seal.
With firmer windlace, the hammer is used to keep nice straight windlace along lid.

Check windlace for defects and position, to ensure bulbseal will fit correctly when applied.
Roll the windlace to remove any bumps.

Complete the quality checks
