BYD TREK-R Tray Installation

Step 1 of 15

After vehicle has been fully powered down

Cut rear tail light wiring at required location

Passenger side vehicle loom needs all cable ties removed allowing it to be lengthened.

Remove all cable ties from vehicle loom

Remove power box from BYD bracket

Remove BYD charge ports from front drivers side bracket

Disconnect fuel breather

Disconnect fuel filler

Remove all BYD mounts from chassis mounting points

Secure power plus to bracket provided

Remove breather plug from fuel filler assembly Disconnecting both ends

Remove plus from BYD hose

Connect plus to new hose provided

Reconnect plugs to breather assembly

Step 7 of 15

Secure breather hose to the fuel breather valve and secure in the housing provided

At this stage secure new mounts and tray

System.

Connect rear tail lights and reverse camera in connections shown

Secure BYD charging connections using mount provided.

Secure BYD electrical components to chassis

Connect earth cable to BYD earth connection and secure to chassis

Step 12 of 15

Drill two holes in drivers side chassis and cable tie electrical cabling.

Cable tie breather hoses

Securing breather assemble to chassis

Secure fuel filler assembly to chassis

Connect remaining fuel filler and breather components to chassis

Install guards and tool boxes
