How to replace a Load-Lid Aluminium Angle

Step 1 of 5Kit:
Powder Coated Aluminium Angle
10 x 6.4mm Aluminium Rivets (Black)
Bottle of touchup paint

Step 2 of 5Drill out the 4 x 6mm Ali Rivets using a 6mm drill bit. Remove all the rivet heads and swarf from inside the extrusion bracing.

Step 3 of 5Pre-install the replacement gas strut brackets, lid spacer kit, and brace kit to the Ali Angle.

Step 4 of 5Install the ali angle using the 4 x 6.4mm Ali Rivets

Step 5 of 5Touchup the rivet heads using touchup paint.
